yeah.. I saw that.. but $48 isn't that much.. I dunno.. I'm keen to go if a couple of other people will. I just don't tend to enjoy these sorts of things if I go alone.
i think this is one of those things where 'in theory' i'd LOVE to go however, it's just not going to happen. i'm trying to convince my parents to get me a drawing tablet (for birthday) and a4 ones are $700+ hence i will be paying over 1/2 thus will have $150 to live on til i find a job. durr. sorry. we can find somethign else grande!
man you dont need a big tablet, I've got a small one and it does just fine, the big ones are only useful if you're used to painting giant canvases and can't do small stroke
but i wanna do detailed fashion illustrations. and copy model's poses from magazines and then draw the clothes over. when i did some drawings on a small one with rohan we had to do the drawing in 3 parts and then join it together. i guess we could've done it small but i think they wouldn't have been as detailed/ good. (not that they're great anyway). what do you reckon? reasonable justifications? or would a small one be fine? i Think it makes sense to get a big one but maybe i'm nuts.
well the only difference between sizes is size, the work area of the tablet corrosponds to the screen, if the pen is in the middle it will be in the middle of the screen also, if the pen is in the upper righthand corner of the tablet it will be in the upper right had corner of the screen. The only reason to get a larger one is if you're used to making larger strokes. Feature wise there's no difference.
If you work in higher resolutions and zoom in you can do as much detail as you like.
it's just the whole mostly i'll be working from an a4 image originally. Detail would be easier in a big one. i've used a littler one before. i think bigger would be waay easier.
